Bagdad Museum Lecture Series
Held First Saturday each Month - 10 a.m.
Postponed till further notice - Bagdad Village Preservation Association presents a wonderful monthly Lecture Series in the Historic Bagdad Village Museum. Held the first Saturday of each month, various personalities, authors, historians, and storytellers take us on a journey of intrigue. Come early, meet our guest speaker, and explore the Museum.

Author's Luncheon Series
Held Quarterly
Postponed till further notice - The Author's Luncheon Series is a wonderful way for the public to preview an author's new book. It gives the attendees a chance to meet the authors and ask questions about their publications. The luncheon is held at the Historic Bagdad Village Museum.

Waterfronts Maritime Trail
Poker Run - Annual Boating Event
The Waterfronts Maritime Trail Poker Run is a waterborne event held in the fall. This event introduces boaters to the new Blackwater Maritime Heritage Trail and features historic stopping points along the way. Festivities wait at the end point celebrating the winning poker hand from cards gathered along the way.

Legends and Lore Tour at the Bagdad Cemetery
Postponed till further notice - The tour is held at the famous Bagdad Cemetery where the story of our forefathers comes to life. Neighborhood historians will take you through the times in history that formed the Village of Bagdad. Actors portraying historic personalities shed perspective of what it was like to live in the most prosperous southeastern village during the 1800s.

Bagdad Christmas Tree Lighting
Held First Friday of December
Held next to the old Barber Shop, the traditional tree lighting includes carolers, hot chocolate, tree decoration, and true Village Spirit. The evening is open to all and is for both grown-ups and kids. Attended by all the surrounding organizations, the Tree Lighting makes a great start to the holiday season.

Special Reenactment Event -
1781 Siege of Pensacola
Postponed till further notice - Muskets will fire and cannons will roar at Bagdad Mill Site Park in commemoration of the 1781 Siege of Pensacola. There will be two full days of period encampments, Living history demonstrations, musket and artillery demonstrations, and battle reenactments on Friday and Saturday. The event is presented by the UWF Historic Trust and is free to the public.
