Bagdad Mill Site Park

Bagdad Mill Site Park is the most unique addition to the Santa Rosa County Park System, being the only park of its kind in Northwest Florida.  The historic site is located on the Blackwater River and is a favorite for both nature lovers and recreation enthusiasts.

Bagdad Mill Site Park is located in the historic district of Bagdad, FL.  The park is the most unique addition to the Santa Rosa County Park System, being the only park of its kind in Northwest Florida.  The historic site is located on the Blackwater River and has a historic marker listing it as a Florida Heritage Site.  The park is a favorite for both nature lovers and recreational enthusiasts.  The park entrance is constructed of Juniper timbers, a common rot resistant building material used for cladding historic homes in the Village of Bagdad.

Bagdad Recreational Facility

Bagdad Recreational Facility is a 9 acre park located in the central uplands of the Historic District.  The grounds include areas for softball, basketball, and tennis as well as a .23 mile walking trail, pavilion, and several picnic tables. The Community Center has kitchen facilities and may be reserved for events.

Ollinger Bruce Pocket Park

Ollinger Bruce Pocket Park is a one acre park adjacent to Tampa Landing on the Blackwater River.  The park sits on Northwest Florida Water Management District property and features a covered picnic site.  A nature trail extends south towards Shipyard Point where the area's historic shipyards once existed.
